The Television Academy is hosting the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards Show in Los Angeles, California on September 18, 2016. The Emmys is a ceremony that recognizes excellence in the television industry and honors shows that air nationwide on broadcast television. IMDb has the rare opportunity to partner with the Television Academy. As partners, we are producing the official LIVE after show.
Our goal, therefore, is to create a cohesive visual language that will deliver an engaging and authoritative homepage experience for both fans of IMDb and fans of the Emmys and
the television industry.
Create, produce, and drive awareness of IMDb-branded, sponsored original and editorial content that is relevant and engaging to Amazon and IMDb customers. Deliver creative that is ownable and aligns with the IMDb brand, while being complimentary to the Emmys brand. Establish creative that is cohesive across all platforms. Creative will need to translate to all forms of media including, but not limited to, the LIVE show set design, home page wrap, social faceouts, video content and online placements.
Combine both the IMDb brand and Emmy Awards brand visual language. Leverage the established look of IMDb video 1-sheets to create a rich texture that will be identifiable through our various media channels. Look and feel of creative should aim to be elegant, original, classy, timeless
and memorable. Graphics package must integrate the following elements and their respective established brand guidelines, as required:
— IMDb Logo
— IMDb LIVE title treatment — IMDb Key Art
— Emmy Logo
— Emmy Statuette
— Emmy Key Art
— TCL Logo
