This challenge was to create a complete brand identity system for Amazon’s new free streaming channel, IMDb Freedive. I conceptualized and designed the IMDb Freedive brand identity for this cross-functional, cross-team launch. The brand identity system included the wordmark and channel tiles, designed in the context of the 10-foot experience. As a new channel on the IMDb, Prime Video, and FireTV platforms, it was key that the mark stood out among a sea of channel tiles. IMDb’s signature bold yellow/gold brand color was leveraged for maximum brand recognition, visibility, and to further reinforce the IMDb brand. I also oversaw and directed the agency that executed the IMDb Freedive key art grid and pre-roll.
